Hey guys,
“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life” – Mark Twain
So last month was a bit of a dull month for posts. So in this post I will be talking about things I would have don’t last month.
So the first thing:
I only read one book this month 😥 It’s not like I haven’t tried (I’ve picked up 2 other books, I’ve just been in a reading slump and it sucks. The book I read was:
Legendary by Stephanie Garber
I waited a year for this book, and it was sooooo worth the wait! I loved this more then Caraval, which is saying something considering how much I love that! I honestly had no idea what was going to happen at the end of this book, and then the ending happened! I’m still trying to wrap my brain around it, it was so good and mind blowing! *miner spoilers* I wasn’t too fond of Tella in Caraval (although I thought the thought of what she did was amazing), but I loved her in Legendary. Because I have soooo much to say about this book I’ll be doing a review about this, which will be very spoiler heavy! It should be surprise that I gave this book a 5/5 stars on Goodreads.
The next thing is, I have bought a looooot of books this month. I like it’s a crazy amount, so here we go (because there’s a lot I’ll just be listing them off with photos)
Legendary by Stephanie Garber
(I’ve already put the pick above)
Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre (both in one)
The Cousins War Series (2-4) by Philippa Gregory:
The Red Queen
The Lady Of The Rivers
The Kingmakers Daughter
The White Princess

31 Bond Street by Ellen Horan
Shakespeare Complete Works

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
The Line Of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst
Hey Diddle Diddle, The Corpse And The Fiddle by Fran Rizer
Selected Poems by William Wordsworth
Devil-Devil by Graeme Kent
My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
The Impossible Knife Of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson
Girls Night by A Bunch Of Different Female Authors
Pants On Fire by Maggie Alderson
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
The Moonlight Dreamers by Siobhan Curham
The Orchard by Drusilla Modjeska
Switched by Amanda Hocking
Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
So that’s a lot of books, and definitely a lot more than I would usually buy, but I’m not complaining.
I would also like to point out that I have an Instagram account. I’ve put the link at the bottom of my posts, but I’ve never really told you (or anyone) to follow it. That’s changing today, I’ve deleted my old photos and I’ve started fresh, I now have 11 posts up and I am currently doing the #EvilQueenReadsHamilton book challenge and I’m really enjoying it (especially since its Hamilton, I’ve been listening to the Soundtrack non stop lately, and I’m not going to lie, I WANT TICKETS!! 😥 ). I’d really appreciate it if you could go and check it out! The link is here: https://www.instagram.com/booksxemma/
And that’s all there is! I will be posting a lot more this month than I was last month!
Till next time
